Got a hunch or a hope who the Browns will soon draft? Go on the record to win a signed copy of my paperback, Brown for the Count: A Compendium of Cleveland Browns Lists, straight to your mailbox.
Just use this form to name up to 11 players you think the Browns will select at some point during the draft. Whoever gets the most right wins. It’s that simple.
Don’t be daunted: last year’s winners got no more than two names right among the Browns’ 14 picks.
Never mind about order or rounds or trades. Just fill out the form completely, try to spell the names right, and submit your entry before the commissioner opens the draft on Thursday night. No strings, no hassles. Just a fun little contest to get my book into the hands of more fellow fans. (Father’s Day is June 18 this year:)
Questions? Comment below, so that all entrants might see it and the response. To score and convert this offer, read these seven points:
-
One entry per person. If more than one entry is received from an individual, those entries will be disqualified. Entries will be accepted only until the commissioner opens the draft on Thursday, April 27, 2017.
-
Winning means submitting the greatest number of correct names via the linked Google form. A correct name is the first and last name of a player who becomes a 2017 Browns draft selection. Correct spelling is not required, but misspelled/incomplete names may be overlooked when scoring.
-
Among entries tied with the same number of correct names, the earliest received shall prevail.
-
At least one prize will be awarded per 50 valid entries received, rounded up, up to ten prizes. Determination of entry eligibility and winner(s) is at the sole judgement and discretion of the contest sponsors, Browns Plainly and Interspiral Press.
-
Winner(s) will be contacted by email (required) to provide a U.S. mailing address. Respond within 96 hours of that email; otherwise forfeit the prize so another winner may be selected.
-
Employees and immediate family members of the Cleveland Browns, their media and corporate partners, and the contest sponsors are ineligible.
-
There is no cost to enter the contest or receive prizes. Privacy of personal information shall be respected, as shown and chosen in the entry form.
