Peter King, in the latest Sports Illustrated, picked linebacker Andra Davis as this week’s “Star in the Making.” He noted that Davis has a team-high 75 solo tackles through ten games, compared with Earl Holmes’ 2002 season total of 88.

I definitely like seeing Davis fly in through the middle on the occasional blitz. Can’t let those quarterbacks sit back and get too comfortable, and, among the possible blitzers, the MLB starts off closest to the QB anyway.
