As regular readers have surely discovered, I take great interest in patterns and coincidences that don’t necessarily mean anything. So to my beautiful mind, the name Chad Beasley is significant because it shares the initials of the team itself, Cleveland Browns. Only Courtney Brown can say the same among current Browns.
So that got me to thinking of past Browns with the initials C.B. There are only seven others (not including the 1987 scabs). How many can you come up with? If you can name more than three, you’re more of a Browns ace than I. (Hint: all of them played defense.) Scroll down for the complete list:
