According to the folks over at Bernie’s Insiders, the Browns today cut OT Jason Jiminez, DB Oliver Celestin, DE Michael Boireau, CB Jermaine Jones, and TE Bob Slowikowski. This makes sense, as none of them managed to catch my attention on Saturday against the Lions.

They also signed TE Jeff Kostrewa, who had been released by the Vikings. Adding a new player during this roster-winnowing period makes me curious. Will jumbo-sized Chad Mustard survive the cuts? Steve Heiden and Darnell Sanders appear to be locks. Aaron Shea (a survivor from the pre-Butch era) is looking good too, but he may have the most trade value.
